#Grimmway Farms Simply Delicious Carrot Creations-Biggest Loser Snack

Grimmay Carrots

As we have mentioned,  Ari is learning to cook.  She is taking baby steps with Grimmway Farms Baby Carrots.

Carrots are great part of our daily diet.  We snack on them, juice, steam, bake and dip them.

Carrots are good source of beta-carotene.  We like them because they are good for healthy skin, growth and healthy immune system and contain pyotechemicals-colorful plant compounds that may offer protection from heart disease and certain cancers.

My son was the first person to try the Grimmway Farms Carrot Dippers.  He took them to school and when I picked him up at the end of the day.  I asked him did he eat his lunch, he said, "Yes....and those carrots, they were so sweet."  When we returned home, I had to try them for myself.  He was right, they were very sweet.

Now, the chef to be in our family was eager to try her hand at Grimmway Farms Simply Delicious Carrot Creations.

Simply Delicious Roasted Garlic & Savory Herb -Preparation

I knew this would be a perfect beginning.  This a easy veggie side dish that could be prepared in minutes.  She insisted on preparing them in the oven, although you can microwave them as well.  I prefer them being baked also.  All she had to do was place the carrots in a oven, safe dish and put the flavored buttery dollop in the center and then into the oven.  Once the dollop is heated it becomes a perfectly prepared sauce.

Simply Delicious Carrots- Prepared & Ready to Eat

The carrots cooked for about 10- 15 minutes and with some mixing the sauce into the carrots, Ari was pleased with her dish.  They tasted great!  It was easy to prepare and she felt good about herself.  Let's not forget this was a dish the entire family enjoyed.  We are going to eat the Simply Delicious Honey, Brown Sugar & Cinnamon Carrots this week.  I am sure we will like those as well.

Grimmay Farms has teamed up with NBC's hit reality T.V series, "The Biggest Loser", to bring awareness to the benefits of adding more fruits and vegetables to one's diet.  Grimmway has created specially marked packages featuring "The Biggest Loser" sweepstakes.  We have tried those carrots as well, as a quick snack or juicing.   Either way, they taste good.

Learning to cook with healthier alternative is always good.   Don't forget to eat your veggies....
