San-J Tamari Lite Sauce- Tamari Lite Review

Cooking lite seems to be imperative around the holidays, especially after eating lots of heavy foods.  Every year we find ourselves over indulging, but this year we are not going to abandon our healthy  lifestyle.  To stay true to eating lite, we cooked with Tamari Lite Sauce.

We received a bottle of Tamari Lite Soy Sauce to sample.  Our family loves soy sauce.  The little guy likes to eat on plan rice all of the time.  It is hard to keep it in the house.  We usually opt for soy sauce that does not have a lot of sodium.  Tamari Lite has 90% less sodium and we enjoyed it.

We decided to sample it by preparing a stir fry, we had to before someone used it all on their rice.

We made one vegetable stir fry and on chicken stir fry and they both were pretty good.  They soy sauce was pretty lite, it seemed a bit lighter than the other brand we get from Trader Joe's, but we did not mind.   Tamari soy sauce is made soybeans with just a touch of wheat as opposed to other brands that are made with 50% soybeans and 50% wheat, that may explain a lot.  We did not compare the labels, but it would be interesting to see the difference between the two brands.  Our family believes if it is good for you, it tastes good. We are very conscious about our sodium intake, so this soy sauce was a perfect fit for our family.  The true test was when the little guy at it only with his plain rice and did not notice the difference.

San-J Tamari Gluten Free Soy Sauce is naturally brewed with 100% soybeans and no wheat; it displays a noticeably richer and smoother taste than regular soy sauce. Now after trying the soy sauce we have to try other San-J products!!!

We would like to share a couple of San J recipes:
