Happy Hour at Daily Grill- Daily Grill Studio City @DailyGrill

Daily Grill, Studio City-Daily Grill happy hour is sooooo good!!!  We were invited to Daily Grill, Studio City, to try their happy hour menu.  Let's just say, we loved everything.

We do not drink alcohol, but we do not mind ordering virgin beverages.  They taste the same, because if we did drink alcohol we would only order something sweet.

Cheers

The Happy Hour menu has a nice selection of items at reasonable prices.  That is enough to make anyone happy in today's economy.

We started off our evening with virgin margaritas and virgin strawberry daiquiris.  Drinks range from $5 -$10 and the food ranges from $4-$7.

Ari loves shrimp so we ordered coconut shrimp first.  This was perfect, because I like jumbo, coconut shrimp, although I am not a big fan of shrimp I will eat jumbo shrimp.

While sat waiting for our shrimp the manager came to the table and suggest the Portobello Fries.  We  had never had Portobello fries before.   They were really good.    The waitress suggested the Spinach Artichoke Dip.  Now, this is a favorite that we love.  The manger told us that it had been taken off the menu and brought back.  We can understand why it has returned.  This has to stay on the menu.  Talking about delicious.....  It did not end there we then had Blackened Ahi Tostadas.  The tostadas are made with avocado, pineapple and sriacha aioli and of course Ahi.  We did bring the little man along.  He loves to eat wings, only when we dine out.  He and I shared the Crispy Naked Wings or at least I think we shared them, because I looked up and they were almost gone.  They came with BBQ, Louisiana hot sauce and bleu cheese.  We did ask for a side of ranch also. The combination of the different sauces were good and the chicken was cooked to perfection.  Not every restaurant can make good wings, but Daily Grill has it perfected.  Yummy.....Ari seemed to not be able to get enough of the shrimp, so we agreed we would try the Crispy Popcorn Shrimp.  We did have them with cocktail sauce, but I dipped mine in BBQ sauce and that was really good.   We have not had Sweet Potato Fries in a while.  Well at home we bake ours, so we decided to get the real deal and we were not disappointed.  They were so crisp and tasty.  We ended our happy hour with the Crispy Calamari.  It was served with Ginger lemon aioli.  Like the wings, not everyone can make calamari, but Daily Grill has the right recipe.

We had a wonderful time a Daily Grill, Studio City.  The staff, food and drinks were great!!!

Although we did not try the regular menu, we plan on returning to try that out as well.  Daily Grill is celebrating their 25th anniversary so we would like to take part in that as well.

The restaurant first opened in Los Angeles, CA on September 1, 1988.  The founders’ goal was to serve upscale American dishes in a casual every day environment.

To this day guests enjoy freshly prepared items such as Certified Angus steaks, chops, fresh seafood, classic salads, and signature home-style desserts.  Though they still serve the famous Chicken Pot Pie, Daily Grill has adapted with the times and now offers seasonal chef driven dishes and low calorie options.

The Simply 600 menu, featuring lunch and dinner items under 600 calories, was launched in January 2012 and now rivals the pot pie in popularity. As part of the ongoing improvements Daily Grill has also revamped their Happy Hour menu with a range of eclectic dishes, such as Chicken Poblano Quesadilla, Blackened Ahi Tostadas and Chicken Cobb Sidekicks, locally sourced beers and handcrafted cocktails.

The popularity of the concept has resulted in 18 locations in eight states.   Daily Grill recently announced it will open its 19th location in Sonoma County at the Graton Casino and Resort in the fall.  With this expansion, Daily Grill will experiment with a more contemporary design which will influence the look of the brand as a whole.

To kick off this step forward and celebrate the 25th Anniversary, Daily Grill is offering a special $25 off promotion for its loyal Preferred Guests.   The promotion will be available during dinner beginning August 1st and continuing through the end of September.  To become a Preferred Guest, simply sign up at VIP.DailyGrill.com

This is a great promotion, so hurry over to Daily Grill for a great dining experience.  Happy 25th Anniversary Daily Grill!!!
